Responsibilities:
➢ Procurement of material as per the customer project specification from approved
manufacturer as per client requirement.
➢ Supporting and developing suppliers in establishing improvement programs,
verifying implementation of quality improvement program at suppliers.
➢ Work with suppliers to continuously improve performance, implement robust
process controls, perform routine audits and develop quality assurance plan.
➢ Assist supplier’s quality manager with supplier improvement process and
development activities as per quality management system.
➢ Review of clients / project specifications and identify quality requirements.
➢ Review of the technical query as per the project specification and relevant SHELL
(DEP, SP and MESC)/ASTM, ASME, ISO, API and NACE standards.
➢ Follow up of orders on everyday basis and updating in daily records.
➢ Inspection knowledge of all kind of materials (carbon steel, low temperature
carbon steel, stainless steel, Nickel Alloy, Duplex and Super duplex) and their
relevant codes and standards.
➢ Review of drawing, calculation and ITP (Inspection Test Plan) from the supplier as
per the purchase order requirement.
➢ Conducting PIM with manufacturer and supplier to thoroughly check the execution
of supply as per ITP and Drawing.
➢ Witnessing and reviewing of NDT (LPT, UT, MT and RT) and destructive testing
(Tensile test, Impact test, Bend test) and inspection reports.
➢ Reviewing all the MTC’s(EN 10204 3.1, 3.2, 2.1, 2.2) and TPI reports i.e. IR
(Inspection Report) and IRN (Inspection Release Note) from manufacturer
according to relevant Shell standards and SPEC (i.e. DEP standards, SP
standards, MESC, ASTM, ISO standards and ASME standards)
➢ Review and approval of WPS/PQR certificate of all welded materials.
➢ Visual inspection of all the materials (welded and seamless) and approving it to
send PDO for final inspection and erection at site prescribed in the Purchase
Order.
➢ Review of NCR’s (Non-conformance Report) for resolving and ensuring,
Corrective and Preventative Action Reports (CPARs) are prepared by
supplier/manufacturer, for effective closure
➢ Finding and describing RCA’s with respect to relevant standards and conducting
lab test on failed product with help of manufacturer/supplier.
➢ Discussing the RCA’s with manufacturer/supplier in order to resolve the RCA’s to
avoid any failure in future.
➢ Hydro testing of the valves as per API/ISO standards and also as per special
client requirement and preparing hydro test report

verification.
➢ Coordination and monitoring on non-destructive testing requirements on
completed weld joints.
➢ Executing the work as per drawing and design.
➢ Preparing WPS (welding procedure specification) and WQT (welder qualification
test).
➢ Quality control as per the design & drawing standard.
➢ Supervision of fabrication as per assigned drawing to the production department.
➢ Verifying and reviewing of Incoming material inspection report.
➢ Review and witness of records, for various inspections performed, welding
inspection, radiography testing, UT testing, magnetic particle testing.
➢ Submitting daily progressive report to the senior quality engineer.
➢ Estimation and costing of all the materials required for fabrication.

client.

Responsibilities:
➢ Preparing daily performance report on the basis of daily drilling report of different rig.
➢ Review of Contractor’s technical deliverables, technical queries and deviation
requests and work for an optimized solution in the Company’s interest.
➢ Maintaining all the records of drilling materials at the ware house and the
respective yard.
➢ Preparing PR (purchase requisition) for the assigned quotation as per company
norms using SAP software.
➢ Preparing and maintaining all drill pipe inventory of different rigs and yards.
➢ Preparing work force report and categorizing it with the Saudi nationality and
non-Saudi nationality as per required by the company and ARAMCO officials.
➢ Looking after the supply of required materials to different rig from the warehouse.
➢ Verify quantities and contents of all shipments to, from and between the rig(s).
➢ Ensure that all materials received on rig are properly stored in accordance with
storage and preservation procedures.
➢ Issue materials to rig personnel and ensure delivered materials are documented
➢ Communicate with Customer / Operator or Service Company personnel to
facilitate management of materials.
OFFSHORE DUTIES:
➢ Maintenance of offshore Diesel engine 3516 Caterpillar i.e. changing of oil and oil
filters, checking for the clearance in diesel supply to the engine continuously.
➢ Maintenance of air compressors i.e. changing the air filter, cleaning the radiator,
feeding the coolant oil.
➢ Transfer of fuel and drill water from one tank to another and also receiving diesel
from ships.
➢ Updating daily engine log sheet and updating diesel tank, air compressor and
water maker reading.
➢ Daily maintenance of slop traps system (Kitchen waste treatment system).
➢ Daily maintenance of OMNI PURE system (Sewage water treatment system).
➢ Daily maintenance of Water maker system i.e. changing the water micron filters,
creating manual back wash on the system.
➢ Taking on the diesel from the boat into the tank.
➢ Transfer of diesel from tank to tank by CENTRIFUGE and SOCK FILTER
system.
➢ Maintenance of CENTRIFUGE by cleaning it on weekly basis
