Citrix is the cloud company that enables mobile workstyles, citrix has variety of products like Gotomeeting, Goto assist, Gotomypc, Podio, virtualization products like xenapps, xenservers, load balancers like Netscalers for application delivery networking.
Responsibilities:
• Managing and troubleshooting LAN/WAN issues, Switching, Routing & network connectivity issues in production/datacenter Environment.
• Performing Network Infrastructure changes which includes, Netscalers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls and Proxy
• Configuration maintenance and troubleshooting of Cisco Nexus switches, Juniper Routers, citrix Netscalers.
• Acting on high critical network outage incidents.
• Handling circuit outages by coordinating with ISP, working with TAC if there is any issues with network devices.
• Coordinating routing issues & high end issues with Tier3 team
• Patching new software release upgradation done Netscalers, Juniper Routers on regular basis.
• Renewing SSL certificates on Citrix Netscaler load balancers.
• handling vpc creation, security group configuration in AWS
• Involved in various projects like DDOS mitigation, Disaster recovery activities, Network devices software/firmware upgrades, Datacenter consolidation projects .
• Involved in Network automation, writing python scripts to fetch configuration from routers, switches
2 . Avaya Nortel Networks ltd March 10-till May12.
Responsibilities:
• Managing all Data products for the Nortel Customers across global from Network Management Centre (NMC).
• Configuration maintenance and troubleshooting of the following Nortel and cisco Switches, passport 8600, multiservice switches 7610, secure routers 2330 series.
• Monitoring the Alarms using the Netrac tool and solving the network Issues LAN, WAN for customers.
• Managing and troubleshooting network of LAN/WAN issues, Switching, Routing & network connectivity issues.
• Handling circuit outages on customers network across global by coordinating with carrier (AT&T/Verizon
/Sprint) until the outages get restored.
• Handling the tunnel outages by coordinating with circuit providers until the outages get restored.
Coordinating routing issues & high end issues with Tier3 team
• Performing daily backups of access, distribution and core switches of different location .
• Patching new software release upgradation done on data devices by regular basis to the customers
