I am responsible for the PLC system, emergency shutdown system, custody transfer metering system and fire fighting detection alarm system.
-Managing Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Performance Tests.
-Monitor, review and approve of contractors job of instrumentation & control systems at site before taking-over of new facilities from contractors.
-Following-up punch list with vendors in order to close it within determined time.
-Ordering, following-up and inspecting of new spare parts.
-Following-up with vendors to get final documentations.
-Preparing the preventive maintenance programme and implement maintenance of various control systems.
-Reviews the vendor documents.
In this position I was supervising a multinationals team of two team leaders and ten technicians, I responsible for the Planed Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM) and Facilities Improvement Proposal (FIP) of the plant that will ensure availability and reliability of plant equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
My main responsibility in this role is to ensure the smooth daily running of the instrument equipments and control system. This includes:
Prepare the preventive maintenance programme and implement the maintenance of various control systems and instrumentation equipment of the Central Processing Facilities (CPF)
Preparing of daily instrumentations & control systems maintenance report
Carrying out corrective and break down maintenance of Instruments.
Operations and maintenance of the Distributed Control System (DCS), Emergency Shutdown System (ESD), Fire and Gas System (FGS) and Fire Detection Alarm Systems.
Working for developments to the existing DCS, ESD control systems and instrumentation equipments to keep them updated with new technologies.
Coordinating with the Central Processing Facilities (CPF) and Centre Control Room (CCR) supervisors in order to execute the maintenance activities.
Cooperate and closely communicate with process engineers and plant operation teams
Budgetary preparation, inventory control, making spare parts list, ordering of spares, making work orders, evaluations of quotations, inspection of the incoming spares.
Assist the department in the preparation of work orders for any major works, bid evaluation and recommendation.
Commissioning of new Instrumentation & Control Systems projects
Monitor the working of the instrumentation & control systems at site before taking over of new facilities from contractors
Arranging of spares, equipment, tools etc. required for the maintenance activities.
Guiding the subordinates and utilizing them efficiently
I was assigned in Production Services Section - Production Department
Key Responsibilities:
My main responsibility in this role was to respond to the oil filed requirement relating to instrumentation and control system spare parts. This includes:
1-Create the new Purchasing Requisition (PR), for spare parts and consumables items that requested by site people or my respect supervisor.
2-Follow-up and expedite the Purchasing Requisition (PR) and liaised closely with other departments in order to get the spares on time.
3-Inspect all the spare parts and consumable items to ensure that the spares which we requested as per our specs.
4-Deal and Follow-up with other departments such us Logistic, Finance, Aviation and Procurement to facilitate my duties
