• Ensured product verification of all items that are received and entered into the computer system as stated on the packing slips.
• Handled the movement of goods along a supply chain by making sure that all materials and personnel necessary for proper functioning are made available to the parties that need them.
• Corresponding via e-mail, fax and telephone with Volvo CE our principal supplier for delayed orders and any discrepancies for inbound shipments.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to develop a plan for what goods need to be shipped when and where and make sure that all parties, including shippers, transporters, and receivers, are clear on their duties, such as when and who is to receive packages.
• Managing multi-site warehousing activities and responsible for Product Coding & Bin Coding for smooth operation of warehouses.
• Coordinating with Branch Operations Manager, Branch rehouse Executives, to achieve high Customer Satisfaction & Monthly Sales Target.
• Performs cycle counts as and when necessary to ensure that warehouse inventory matches the System Inventory. Investigate the reason for any discrepancies in warehouse inventory (i.e. mispick of quantity or item, receiving error, etc), and makes the proper adjustments in the system by following established guidelines.
• Handling total logistics management from Ordering to Delivery of parts, Inbound & Outbound logistics of spare parts.
• Drafting effective strategy for reducing the Logistics cost & time for better Service to the customer.
• Submit monthly reports on Inventory & Cost.
• Involved in development and implementation of SOP (Standard Operation Procedures).
