Provide technical support for the mechanical and piping / pipeline construction effort including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts; constructability reviews, etc.
Technical support for Mechanical & Piping construction activities on-field end to end. Responsible for delivery of the project on time with zero defects.
Review of Piping construction drawings, Technical Specification, Technical Recommendation, Quality Assurance Plan & Mechanical deliverables.
Ensure that all mechanical and piping / Pipeline construction activities comply with company and contract requirements and support the overall construction schedule
Follow-up with contractors to ensure that, the construction works have been completed strictly in line with project standards and procedures, to cross check all the inspection test records (ITR’s) with supported documents have been documented properly prior to offer for QA/QC inspection / final submission of hand over dossiers to completions team.
To provide redline markup drawings from the contractor / vendors based on the pre-line walkdowns completed in the field, for onward submission to mechanical completions team.
To organize final commissioning walkdowns (multi discipline) with the client for formal handover in order commissioning team to make the completed system ready for startup activities, as a part of walkdowns, punch lists to be created and issue back to the construction team and follow up to close out punch items.
Preparing full detailed description of the work required to be carried out from a given scope of work and specifications.
Preparing method statements, job cards with hours using company Norms and covering all jobs personnel employed for the tasks, and final acceptance sheets.
Providing assistance to Construction team members as required during survey and execution phases of the work.
preparing of work packs including TRA's, JMS, materials, peer reviews, HAZIDS, Envid's, COSHH, testing requirement, specialist tools and equipment, also identify specialists/vendors to perform identified tasks.
Developing work scopes estimates and register changes with supporting documentation.

Provide technical direction and assistance to all construction and commissioning activities at site which are related to Mechanical & piping Discipline.
Perform inspections of all pipe work in progress on a continual basis and complete final checkout of piping installations to ensure quality and conformance to specifications and codes prior to turnover to client for startup.
Coordinate with Engineering to resolve drawing and set-route issues
Responsible to resolve assigned all submitted technical queries where possible and sign-off.
Send assigned change requests to home office and drive close out
Follow up on assigned information requests and drive close out
Validate approved technical queries/change requests have been incorporated in the field construction and included in red line drawings document submissions Qualifications.
Inspect permanent plant materials during the receiving process to ensure they meet project standards and drawings

Schedules (Tie-ins, Pipe supports, Critical lines, Valves),
Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations and MTO’s (All piping material),
Drawings (Plot plans, Equipment Layout, General Arrangements, Isometrics, Pipe and Support standards),
3D models (30%, 60%, 90% and comments close out).
• Check and review Vendor’s deliverables;
General Arrangements (Valves, Specialties, Static and Rotating Equipment),
Procedures and Method Statements (Testing, Inspection, Painting, Packaging for all valves, piping material and specialties items),
Test Reports and Certificates (All valves, piping material and specialties items)
• Check, review and reply to Contractor’s Technical Queries and Concession Requests.
• Attend technical meetings and take part in project decision making.
• Review, interpret, establish and work in accordance with Company standards and procedures.
Familiar with International Standards, such as: ASME B.31.1, ASME B.31.3, ASME B.31.4 ASME B.31.8, ASME, API, NACE, ASTM, Saudi Aramco, QATAR GAS, GASCO, ADCO, Agip KCO, KOC & KNPC. Have knowledge in Microstation V8 and PDS - 3D modeling, equipments & Piping Model.
