I was the go-to-person for all research projects and inquiries in addition to data analytics. Some of the main responsibilities are:

Build the research strategy for MEA and maintain an ongoing practical and proactive process and communication with key stakeholders
Manage full primary research projects with research or media agencies. Present decks internally and externally to client/ media agencies. Types of research and the kinds of insights generated and activated can be variate but mainly it relate to media research, vertical/ category research (Travel, Auto, etc..), market research and consumer research.
Play an essential role in selling Yahoo ad solutions by acting as pre-sales consultant. Manage all insights tools including 3rd party tool data sources.

Projects: Dubai Tourism - huge amount of insights were required by UAE Ministry of Tourism under travel vertical prior to launching a big campaign aimed to support the country 2020 expo goal to bring 20m visitors to Dubai. The research helped helped converting a big chunk of revenues.

Panel and Research Manager, MEA


Manage research projects from writing proposals to creating the insights reports and debrief them to the key internal stakeholders. Focused on advertising and category/vertical research
Completely look after all 3rd party research & insights tools and syndicated data (GWI, EM, CEB, emarketer and more)
Engage current panel members and ensure that the loyalty program and the incentive system are continuously motivating and engaging.
Manage the b2c and b2b research panels whereby quality, growth and technologies were my main duties to keep up with. For instance guarantee reliable and valid survey/research responses/insights by periodic cleaning that focuses on spotting duplicates (users that have multiple accounts), speedsters, straight-liners and internet frauds in general. Recycle the panel with fresh members to keep the response rate in acceptable range based on industry KPIs.
Data mining: Collect profiling and behavioral data about users, manage PDLs (Panel Data Libraries) to enhance the targeting capabilities of the panel.

Managed the operations team in India and the creative team Jordan. Developed flawless internal and external processes for e-mail marketing campaigns and monitored day-to-day operational actions and tasks. Was responsible for approving each mailshot from design and content perspectives before sharing any with the media agencies.

Created the business strategy, model and plan for online research as a new product to be offered in addition to email marketing.

Adapted new technologies provided by the marketer software like STO, A|B|C split, Silverpop surveys, SalesForce (installment and adaption). Secured mobile compatibility for marketing emails.
Acquired new DBs and whitelisted them for usage of marketing. Enhanced the targeting capabilities by adding more tags and variables based on users’ actions and behavior towards mailshots.

Lead the communication with major clients like Etihad airlines and Promo7. Worked in line with sales team providing solutions for their clients and informative analytical reports on marketing trends and industry.
