Working as an Operation Centre Engineer in Smartworld Company, For Dubai Airports Business Technology Operation Centre. Dubai-UAE.
Duties:
• To handle incoming technical support incidents and requests.
• Provide technical support troubleshooting networks, servers, hardware systems, operating systems, and application technical issues for all end users via telephone, chat, and remote.
• Monitoring all Cisco, Juniper, Nortel, FTTO and ARUBA devices.
(Using all related monitoring tools: HP NNMi, Air Wave Management System, Junos Space and Cisco Prime Monitoring & Troubleshooting).
• Troubleshooting and solving networking issues - TCP/IP, Layer 1/2 network devices.
• Troubleshooting network devices hardware problems.
• Resolution of calls ranging from simple password resets to complex queries.
• Responded quickly to urgent tickets, ensuring that critical systems were kept online at all times.
• Promote a high level of customer satisfaction through proper telephone
techniques, and respond with an appropriate amount of urgency to user problems within agreed business SLAs.
• Transfer/escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced
department.
• Management of personal call queue, ensuring calls are closed in a timely fashion.
