• Leading, managing shipments related to F&B, air, sea, overland, courier. Ensuring smooth flow of shipments from supplier to customer.
• Calling & follow up with freight forwarders, suppliers for shipment ETD/ETA to get the shipments with the right quantity and at right time.
• Maintaining an In/Out bound sheet with complete shipment details for movement of goods while they are in transit.
• Calling customers and informing about new products and services, making sales also suggesting cross selling of products.
• Resolves problems by clarifying issues, implementing solutions, escalating unresolved problems and ensuring that clients feel supported and valued.
• Taking part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company and position.
• Coordinating with warehouse team for effective management of store operation in receiving, inspection, storage, issuance & transfer of items.
• Focus on filing (I believe it’s a key factor to organize our self)
• Handling export and import shipment documentation.
• Working on SAP (System, Applications, Products) and posting entries,
updating records, generating customer invoices and shipping
documents.
• Working on WMS (Warehouse management system) for receiving
shipments, storing in warehouse locations.
• Noting discrepancies in goods received.
• Packaging and preparing for transport from warehouse to destination
• Using computer terminal and checking printouts to assessavailability of
goods
• Follow up on problems in stores related to maintenance,
security, cleaning.
• Checking goods in & out, maintaining inventory, checking stock.
• Regular e mail correspondence.
