Successful implementation of these plan has resulted in Malaysia reaching its goal of top quartile EHS performance as measured against OGP peers that also resulted in received an EMAS Award by MPM HSE for the HSE Performance of 2014, 2015 and 2016. . o Acting temporary for 6 mths from June 2014 to February 2015, HSE Advisor roles for Drilling, Completions and Well Services activities: Review and develop contractual HSE Exhibit and HSE related documents (Bridging & SIMOP/TRIOPS document/Risk Assessment/HAZID); Facilitated the risk assessment and review of critical activities (rig move, rig up/down c/w marine activities, well intervention); support and monitor rig (Seadrill & Perisai Companies) HSE activities on daily weekly and monthly basis; inspection and pre-mob briefing to drilling and well services contractors (KL and supply base), including significant incident investigation; o Appointed as Hess Malaysia Bowtie Champion and to ensure of the implementation of Bowtie barrier concept is planned, implemented and embedded to operations o Hess Regional DROPS Lead o Championed Successfully implemented Based Safety Training (BBS) Program for Hess Malaysia that was conducted by BST o Designed, developed and implemented an enhanced Safety Observation Program for all operations within Malaysia. The program allowed sites to effectively capture safety observations, analyze safety observation data and trends and provided a forum for sites to establish local interventions to meet their specific site needs. This was particularly effective at decreasing injuries related to slips, trips, and falls, hand injuries, materials storage and housekeeping issues. o Implemented an enhanced Incident Reporting & Investigation Procedure across the entire Hess Malaysia business, resulting in a standardized approach to incident reporting and investigation and a significant reduction in time taken to identify root causes and share lessons from significant incidents. Action items arising from Lessons Learned are now systematically tracked to closure to ensure lessons are embedded in the business in a sustainable manner. o Designed and project managed the implementation of a Lifting and Hoisting Standardization and improvement program across all of Hess Malaysia assets. This involved leading a team of 4 Hess personnel and 1 external contractor. The result was a 45 % decrease in lifting related incidents and a 100 % decrease in lifting related High Potential incidents within the first six months of implementation. By working collaboratively with Hess Operations in Houston and on site, the program was fully implemented in a self-sustaining manner without any workforce resistance. This project short listed for the 2014 Hess Presidents Award for EHS Excellence and is now the Global Standard for all Hess. o Lead the Process Safety improvement project related to Energy Isolation. This involved leading a team of 6 Hess personnel and 1 external contractor which developed the visual standard for energy isolation planning and execution and making multiple presentations to senior leaders at VP and Senior VP level to obtain agreement on progress. Adoption of this Standard across the entire Hess Offshore organisation resulted in >65% reduction in energy isolation incidents and a 100% reduction in energy isolation High Potential incidents within the first 6 months. o Regional focal to lead the Process Safety improvement project related to Energy Isolation for Malaysia.
