Responsibilities include:
Operation and Maintenance for the Wireless Backbone Network serving corporate and residential customers by providing internet and intranet connections.
Implementation, maintenance and operation for point to point and point to multipoint links:
- Microwave links (Siae, Airfiber, Bridgewave, Trango, Harris, Ericsson, Packetwave, PacketMax, Nextnet, Mikrotik)
- Optical links (Lightpointe, Fsona)
- Switches and routers (Cisco, Mikrotik)
- DSL Modems (Siemens, Viking, Edimax)
- Power chargers (Powerware/Eaton, Delta Systems)
- Monitoring systems (SNMPC, WhatsUP Gold)
Servers: configuring Linux servers, creating solutions for managing network equipment and providing customer additional services.
Corporate customers: implemented and configured new accounts (Banks, ISPs, Schools, Small and medium size enterprises) and provided technical support and follow up with customers.
RF studies and Site surveys: expanding the wireless network by deploying new cells and applying new technologies.
3G service: Dongles configuration and operation for intranet links.
Attended meetings with our existing or new clients to discuss certain issues and projects.
