Map financial data and disclosures, to the taxonomy concepts in US GAAP and Tag them in XBRL software to create XBRL documents that could be filed with US SEC.
• Prepare XBRL-formatted financial statements for client companies. Responsible for communications and XBRL services to multiple, simultaneous clients. Understand client prepared financial statements (10-K, 10-Q)
• Map financial data and disclosures, to the taxonomy concepts in US GAAP
• XBRL tagging, validation and rendering services.
• Creation of extended taxonomy as necessary.
• Creation of XBRL instance document in XML format for filing with SEC.
• Building Calculation link based for Detailed Foot Notes
• Understand the business model of the companies.
• Responsible for tagging the different elements from financial statements and foot notes of the statement (like Balance sheet. Income statement, Cash flow statement and Shareholder’s equity, other comprehensive Income statement and disclosure foot notes of financial statement) to U.S. GAAP taxonomy in XBRL software to create XBRL documents for the filing with US SEC.
• Clearing various errors like validation for mark-ups and calculations errors.
• Creation of XBRL instance document in XML format for filing with SEC.
• Creation of extended taxonomy as necessary.
• Making appropriate Labels of the element as required.
• Rendering of XBRL instance document with source document.
• Doing Peer review and Proof reading of the company done by other analyst.
• Making research and analyzing of company fundamental from the various SEC filing like Quarterly report (10-Q), Annual report (10-K), 20-F and Proxy filling.
• In-depth understanding of US generally accepted accounting principles
• Having strong knowledge of US GAAP taxonomy.
Additional Responsibilities
• Quality Audit & Analysis: Performing quality check on element selection and peer review of the company.
• Feed Back: To give feed back on the work and quality of each analyst and arrange proper training and refresher training.
• MIS: Preparing weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports. Responsible for preparing weekly workflow status for the whole project
