• implement VAS Data Services on Linux platform and all its component like SMSC, MMSC, WAPGW, Huawei Reporting System “SMSBI”, Message Plus Service “M+”, Mobile News Paper “MNS” OTA/ADD, and USSD, etc. and provide the maintenance needed.
Projects Experience:
Syria MTN SingleVAS Project “Syria”
• Lead the efforts of deploying VAS section interfaces with customer parties, like applying online charging on Huawei SMSC, MMSC, and CRBT on Linux platform using diameter protocol with Ericsson IN nodes, which allowed MTN increases the services revenue by 40%, and integrate each VAS particular server and important task with “Nagios” Monitoring and Alarming system.
• Lead the implementation process of Linux systems, multiple types of storages, VERITAS clusters, and other applications.
Syria Syriatel Scope 2012 Project “Syria”
• Install Huawei Mobile News Paper on Linux platform, which opened new channels with local newspapers and increased the revenue by 50K $ per month,
• Upgrade Huawei FDA and SMSC to support SIGTRAN, by removing the SS7 connection and reduce the cost of 32 E1’s, and increase the SW license to allow SMS serves more than 70, 000, 000 SMS per day,
Syria Syriatel Scope 2011 Project “Syria”
• Huawei Message+ Solution Installation, which brings new 35, 000 subscribers and 70, 000 USD profit monthly,
• Expand Huawei FDA’s USAU (SS7 part): To increase the number of SMS handled by Huawei USAU, and increase the company’s profit by serving more than 21, 000, 000 SMS per day,
• Support HP, Fujitsu, and IBM configuration and commissioning disk arrays.
MTC touch OCS project “Lebanon”
• Manage “OCS” project, by coordinate and negotiate customer teams (marketing, sales and technical) for the new project documents and prerequisites (Features Lists, FRSs, BOQ, Responsibility Matrix, needed bandwidths, full HLD).
