• Doing various analysis of various aspects in actual numbers in comparison with previous year’s and budgeted numbers.
• SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) Compliance: - Ensure that all accounting process are in compliance with the SOX controls and preparation of documents for SOX Audit.
• Give training to juniors on system and other financial aspects to build a strong team
• Assist the Finance director in formation of different financial policies.
1.Finalization of accounts with revenue recognition, direct cost accruals and other provisions for indirect costs for monthly reporting.
2.Monthly Balance sheet review and checking the reconciliation of balance sheet ledgers prepared by juniors.
3.Updating detailed income statement and balance sheet in SAP BFC with other schedules like AR Ageing, Accrued revenue ageing, fixed Assets Schedule etc.
4.Updating intercompany balances in SAP BFC and ensuring that company’s balances are matching with all counter parties.
General responsibilities
5.SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) Compliance: - Ensure that all accounting process are in compliance with the SOX controls and preparation of documents for SOX Audit.
6.Review of receivables and coordinating with juniors to expedite the collections, identifying the chances of bad debts and bring in to the attention of finance director.
7.reviewing and posting of day to day journals prepared by juniors and reviewing of all legers monthly
8.Payroll management.
9.Assist the Finance director in formation of different company polices.
10.Preparation of Annual Budgets and quarterly reforecsat under the guidance of Finance Director
