I was the first person employed at this institution. Although we had excellent premises and some teachers available to teach during evening classes. I had difficult time to manage customers in person and callers. Add to that, the registration periods. That lasted more 4 months until we could get a receptionist and an assistant.
Delivering English curriculum and training teachers according to Cambridge Regional College recommendations (http://www.camre.ac.uk/) through a Franchise agreement.
• Won a contract winning with Al Subaii Real Estate Group. HR at al Subai needed us to monitor their staff performance and attendance on a daily basis. That involved a lot of paperwork and emails. We did it. We did not have a choice because that was the first contract won and we needed to start generating some income to ease the pressure on costs
• We were able to collect huge contacts database .
• Recruiting Local teachers instead of international ones, I had to train these teachers to deal with customers either on face to face basis or by telephone. We could make use of them during advert period
• Designing brochures and leaflets instead of using Marketing agencies. That saves us money. The digital source of brochures were usually being changed to better format whenever we advert
• Paying personal visits to Key contacts who held higher positions and promoted our tailored made courses for companies: the visits were actually time consuming, we had to work extra hours to do the admin
.
• Annual internal exhibitions were being organized to promote new courses: we had to invite current customers and potential onces to present new services. We had to make use of that event to evaluate our courses from the clients's points of view.
