Issuing Permits for Construction and commissioning of 2 GE Gas Turbines
Ensuring the nature, scope and objectives of the work are clearly understood and stipulated on the permit.
Approve safe systems of work are established for conducting work on any plant, equipment or high risk work that has the potential to injure personnel, damage plant, equipment or the environment
Ensuring evidence is present indicating that all necessary precautions and controls are identified (such as JHA, Certificates etc.) before work commences
Prepare isolations, then Isolate and Issue Permits to Work for commissioning
Confirm th isolation list and corresponding lock box number on permit
Review and authorise Work Permits and associated Certificates
Coordinate with Field engineering team to verify all technical aspects of the permit
Complying with company HSE policy and procedures
Monthly reporting
Auditing permits to ensure compliance
Developing and implementing the Permit to Work system
Developing and implementing a permit to work training package
Initiating and coordinating, systems, policies, and procedures for Permit to Work.
Prepare Isolations, Isolate and Issue Permits to Work for commissioning
Developing the plant standard operating and isolation practices and conducting audits and reviews of these systems
Maintaining work flow by monitoring steps of the process
Developing reporting procedures and systems
Ensuring operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques
Analysing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

Power Plant also consists of 3 x 55 tonne high pressure/high temperature superheated steam boilers / Dearator and associated 85 bar / high pressure feed water systems.
Combined DCS and field operation of a Hydrogen Sulphide Plant (H2S) including the safe and efficient operation of the duel H2S reactors. Monitor/control of the emergency H2S relief flare system.
Combined DCS and field operation of a large 260 tph 60bar/480 degrees C Waste Heat Boiler, Control and monitor high temperature/pressure superheated steam for process and power generation. Sampling and analysis of sulphuric acid and boiler feedwater systems. Monitor H2S gas coolers for differential pressures, monitor flare line operation
Combined DCS and field operation of a 183 TPH Sulphuric Acid Plant controlling Sulphur Dioxide (S02) and Sulphur Trioxide (S03) gas flow to conversion of 98.5% strength Sulphuric Acid (H2S04) maintaining safe operational system temperatures & pressures. Emergency Shutdown systems (ESD) Emergency relief H2S gas flare system to strict environmental standards, Reaction of Sulphur and Hydrogen to form H2S.
Combined DCS and field operation of an 800 tonne demineralised Water Treatment Plant. System design, Sand filtration, Cartridge filtration, Reverse Osmosis filtration and Demineralised Mixed Bed filtration.
