• Directly responsible for audit, taxation, accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Handle the tasks of preparing consolidated management reports for the Board of Directors on a monthly basis.
• Directly responsible for preparing financial reports to the Capital Market Authority and for publication in news papers on a quarterly basis.
• Directly responsible for preparing consolidated annual financial statements based on IFRS, Commercial Company Law and CMA regulations.
• Directly responsible for preparation of consolidated budgets including presentation on budget on annual basis.
• Directly responsible for preparing consolidated financial forecasts on a quarterly basis.
• Directly responsible for all tax related matters of the parent and its group companies in Oman; filing the tax returns to the completion of the assessments.
• Responsible for review and approval of submissions relating to tax litigations, at all levels up to the Supreme Court, of the parent and its group companies in Oman.
• Involved in the process of chalking out major financial decisions relating to the parent and its group companies.
• Responsible for resolving all accounting problems in the parent and its group companies.
• Responsible for preparation of consolidated and stand alone projected financial statements of the parent and its group companies for various finance raising initiatives.
• Involved in mandatory convertible bond issue and, various debt raising and refinancing initiatives.
• Handled tasks of evaluation of company’s stock market performance and evaluation of various projects including new business opportunities, acquisition of new assets and new finance proposal.
• Perform responsibilities of routine accounting, managing and overseeing accounting staff occasionally.
