• Communication and PR: maintain the company intranet, organise regular Town Hall meetings for the London Branch, manage the working relationship with the Bank’s external PR company, manage the company’s relationship with the BBA and the French Chamber of Commerce, run the recruitment, training and company branding for corporate sports events.
• Events Management: set up internal offsite workshops, seminars, tailored internal training sessions for business lines, organise the company’s participation in LME week, Branch wide client functions, maintain the company’s Corporate Patron status at the Royal Opera House, analyse the company’s Olympics 2012 needs to maximise the benefits from the Branch’s parent company’s sponsorship of the French National Team.
• Business development: assist with the Branch’s cross-selling initiative through running bi-weekly London Client Committee meetings, prepare client and internal presentations, address specific training needs of front office staff.
• Bank support procedures and processes: work closely with the COO to continuously monitor and analyse the support functions in the company to ensure business needs are met, set up of various new committees in preparation for the launch of a new EMEA platform, research and collate data from various teams to with a view to improve and implement cost-cutting initiatives and cost cutting.
• Management: manage and delegate as necessary to the administration, reception and in house catering teams in the absence of the Office Services Manager.
• Traditional EA: complex diary management, international travel arrangements, minute taking, accounts, expenses, email and phone call screening, global liaison with senior managers and their team members.
Managed Hedge Fund Platform.
• Working in harmony with Asian and US based counter parties (trading advisors, prime brokers, fund administrators) to successfully launch hedge funds within tight deadlines.
• Ensuring that all day-to-day operations related to funds on the NAI managed fund platform are carried out in the most efficient way and in line with the standards of the industry.
• Setting up prime broker, custodian and executing broker accounts.
• Performing weekly calculation of fees and approval of portfolio valuations.
• Payment of weekly and monthly fees and invoices.
• Monitor and adjust fund accruals accordingly.
• Processing weekly subscriptions/redemptions and investor statements.
