JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Responsible in achieving high standards of quality assurance on calibrated/repaired items in one or more of the following skill areas, as applicable.
a. bio-med instrumentation
b. electronic standards
c. fiber optics
d. LCR and impedance
e. Nuclear and radiation physics
f. Oscilloscopes
g. Particle counters
h. Photo/radiometric optometry
i. RADAR
j. RF/microwave power, frequency, and impedance
k. Sound pressure level
l. Spectrophotometry (including standards)
m. Spectrum and network analysis, time interval and frequency
n. Vibration
o. Video
p. Voltage & current
q. Waveform analysis, phase and distortion
2. Communicates SCP status to non-technical personnel; regularly interacts with other technicians, CSRs and Purchasing; sometimes interacts with customers; interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information
3. Travels regionally to perform QA on calibration and repair work whenever needed.
4. Helps manages lab environment to meet required calibration needs in accordance with industry standards.
5. Educates or trains team on QA for calibrated and repaired items.
6. Helps on overseeing QA team to meet ISO 17025 and other accreditation standards.
7. Performs receiving inspection, track receipt of all equipment and parts, equipment entry in system, equipment cleaning before turn-over to technicians for calibration/repairs
8. Performs final inspection before shipment of any items going out of the laboratory that was calibrated / repaired with complete documentation.
9. Continues to be trained on all aspects of MPCI Calibration Services
10. Involves self on training, seminars, workshops, programs and MPCI official activities.
11. Participates in the departmental policies and developing goals and objectives.
12. Prepares documentation reports as required or needed by the Lab Manager, Office Manager, President and VP Asian Business Development and keeps it filed for essential monitoring of existing and past projects.
Summary Job Description:
• Demonstrate visible commitment and consistent adherence to the Quality Policy.
• Plan and oversee the calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
• Perform calibration of all measuring devices/equipment.
• Review/Check all Inspection Report submitted by the inspectors.
• Ensure that specifications of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods are established, documented and made accessible to user.
• Follow-up/ Coordinate other department(s) on matters that will affect quality control activities.
• Coordinate to other section on proper control of first goods parts and products as well as information to customer.
• Prepare monthly reports such as Calibration Reports, Supplier's Quality Performance & Product Lot Rejection, Debit Memo and Company Quality Performance.
• Design and oversees the implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and computation of process capability.
• Responsible in control and monitoring of standard samples.
• Responsible in maintenance of measuring and monitoring devices.
• Delegate work assignments to his/her subordinates.
• Conduct orientation and training on new/transferred/assist operator.
• Responsible in implementation of 5'S and maintain the cleanliness & orderliness on his/her area.
• Any task given by his/her superior.
• Responsible in the design and monitoring of 4M Change control management in production lines.
• Issue and file drawings and other QA/QC documents.
• Provision and implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
• Provision and implementation of Quality Control Process Chart (QCPC).
• Issue and monitor Internal and External (Customer Complaints) Corrective and Preventive Action Report (CPAR)
