Currently I am working for a Developer, M/s. Al Falah Holding which is having many diversified subsidiary/ sister companies in UAE, KSA, Qatar and Oman and further I am currently involving in many business activities related to deferent type of Contracts such as:
• Identifying risks and unfair terms, amending provisions, negotiating & finalizing varies type of Contracts such as Construction Contracts and Subcontracts, Consultancy Agreements, Sales & Purchase Agreements, Rental Agreements, Service Agreements, NDA, Confidentiality Agreements, Tenancy Contracts and etc.
• Planning activities and preparation of schedule for construction projects, assigning of resources and costs into activities and then generating manpower histogram, S curve and other required details for specific projects
• Reviewing received contractual notices/ letters, identifying risks and drafting letters under the contract without delay
• Reviewing monthly payment statement/ application against works done under the contract or otherwise and preparation payment certificate for payment
I have worked for 2 government projects, (B+G+3F+Roof) developed by M/s. Al Wasl LLC and specially involved in post contract work activities,
• Contract administration with Dubai Real Estate Corporation Condition of Contract (DREC 2008)
• Submitting to the Employer/ Al Wasl, Request for Approval (RFA) for variations
• Finalizing Variation Orders (VO), PC and PS items
• Certifying contractor’s monthly payment statement/ application against works done and under the contract
• Conducting commercial meetings and attending progress meetings
• Submitting monthly cost reports to Al Wasl / Employer
• Finalized enabling contractor’s TOC, Statement at Completion, Performance Certificate, Discharge, and Final Payment
• Supporting to the planner for delay analyzing by investigating contractor’s entitlement under the Contract

• Measuring, quantifying and preparation of BOQ
• Preparation of Tender documents
• Issuing tender invitations for pre qualified tenderers
• Coordinate with architect/ designers and answering for queries
• Follow up tenderers and keep them updated with addendum
• Tender analyzing
• Preparation sheets for post tender clarification
• Preparation of Contract document
• Coordination with tenderers and Employer till award of Contract
Duties Involved in Projects for Post Contract Works:-
• Marina 101 Project (6B+G+101Floors) - Contract Price: 745 Million AED,
• Marina 106 Project (6B+G+106Floors) - Contract Price: 780 Million AED, and
• Time Royal Project (2B+G+11Floors) - Contract Price: 145 Million AED)
• Reviewing and checking with notices for Contractor’s entitlement and ground for EOT claim
• Identifying delay events and preparation of impacted as planned schedule against Contractor’s EOT claim
• Identifying concurrent delay events, separate them and adjust them accordingly
• Reviewing Contractor’s detail particulars/ contemporary records and finalizing prolongation cost claim
• Checking Engineer’s instructions and Identifying Contractor’s entitlement for variation claims
• Reviewing Contractor’s quantities and new rate breakdowns for variation claims
• Finalizing variation claims and update variation log accordingly
• Writing contractual notices/ letters
• Certifying Contractor’s monthly payment statement (Payment Application) according to Site progress
• Reviewing and finalizing sub contractor’s claims

• Preparation of Bill of Quantities as per drawing and specification for design and built projects

Duties Involved in Port Project:-
• Responsible for quality controlling and categorizing from rock boulders to aggregate under several categories
• Coordinating with all responsible persons and effectively and efficiently arranging barges to send rock boulders from Wadduwa (LOP) site to Colombo post expansion project
• Worked for scheduled day and night shifts and fully responsible for safety of more than 200 workers including supervisors and foremen
Duties Involved in Port Project:-
• Taking off quantities for work done of excavation by getting coordinates thru total station
• Used Surfer 6 software to evaluate excavated quantity and generate reports
• Preparation and submitting monthly payment application
Duties Involved in Harbour Project:-
• Construction of harbour basin and channel by excavating, construction of jetty with precast quay walls and construction of breakwater and revetment
• Effectively and efficiently utilizing heavy construction machineries and equipments
• Preparing and submitting monthly payment application to the consultant and finalizing variations
Gained training as well as helped the employer by doing works under their supervision for 1 year periods. Involved in concrete, and finishing works for 12-storey building and two storeys pre-cast building project as well.
