Started working as Project Manager-Landside for Bangalore International Airport Ltd for GVK. The scope covers expansion of existing roads, construction of new roads (at grade and elevated), trumpet interchange and complete road infrastructure for terminal forecourt, car parking bays and utility planning. This also includes complete design and procurement coordination for all landside works in Bangalore International Airport.
Worked as a Deputy Project Manager-Civil for a prestigious project of Lockheed Martin Aviation Support Service Company, USA. The project is for construction of C-130 J bed-down facilities at Panagarh. West Bengal, India. Our scope includes engineering consultancy service of design review and construction supervision.
This features of this facility consists of hangar buildings (PEB structures), other administrative and training buildings, aprons and links/taxiways. It can accommodate 13 aircrafts at a time.
My responsibilities are:-
1) To monitor the construction activities and to ensure quality and
HSE compliance and assurance of project deliverables to be in
compliance with technical specification.
2) Ensure required documentation in place and receipt of
construction drawings on time. Tracking the schedule with
respect to schedule milestones and provide necessary inputs.
3) Coordination with customer’s representative on routine basis.
