I invigilated a show called Sostalgia by a Glaswegian artist Gordon Picken. There I had thoroughly get to know the art by interviewing Picken. This way I was able to speak to visitors to the gallery about his work with confidence.
Helped with keeping the grounds clean, and tended to costumers.
Helped with tourists in Pike Place Market in Seattle.
I illustrated the book "The Crystal Pool" by Thomas Bingham. Following the intructions by the author, I drew a line drawing per chapter of the book.
Helped with costumers and with sales.
Sold products from Cutco by demonstrating items to the costumers.
I focused on curation and how to develop and showcase my own particular art practice. I studied white and alternative art spaces as well as my own personal interest in online curation. While in Scotland I collaborated with photography students on two separate occasions. During those events, we were given a particular space and had to figure out how to negotiate with that space regarding what art we were displaying. In my personal art practice I was interested in specifically anthropological art. I wanted to find out, not what art is, but what art can do. I researched extensively about humanitarian, activist and therapy art to find out exactly how art can positively affect people. I based a lot of my theory in Joseph Beuys’ own philosophy that everyone is an artist. The way I went about this was by using social media to connect with people in their own thoughts of what is Meaningful and by conducting workshops in The United States, Scotland, England and Lebanon.
