My project was "WPS Training Program for Equipment Operators and Field Specialists". I carried on with all the duties I had previously. Extra duties have been to train a number of supervisors to become main Frac Treaters and to develop the overall competency level for the current Frac crew. Also I started to visit the client as part of my development. I have also been on the teams that has successfully pumped a number of Schlumberger 'New technologies' both in Saudi Arabia and in Kuwait where I was the job supervisor for the first Stage Frac* pumped in the MEA region. I was also stand in Field Service Manager when he was on vacation.

I was also a member of the QSC (quality service committee) for Saudi. Whilst here I was implemented a single company to oversee the waste from the Khobar base recycling more waste than previous. This was later adopted for the whole of Well Services Saudi Arabia.

Other roles included 3rd party contractor verification audits, also involved in the internal SLB management system audit as the LPT chairman. Also developing hazard campaigns from the monthly safety data and chairing the LPT meetings.

Nov 2001, Service Supervisor
I was transferred to Saudi Arabia as a Service Supervisor 3 in Udhailiyah. I started as the Supervisor organizing & running a 24 hour operations of 3 pumping units each with crews (12 persons) for the Fracturing cell, as well as helping out both on High Pressure and Low Pressure sides of the main Frac jobs.

I was also HSE LPT leader for 2002. I had exposure in 2003 in running the Frac crew for a couple of hitches where I organized for 3 prop frac jobs as well as smaller jobs.

Stimulation Vessel Supervisor at Schlumberger

I was transferred to India as the Stimulation Supervisor working for ONGC on their Well Service Vessel, the 'Samudra Nidhi'. As the Supervisor in charge (34 personnel

Responsible for updating and upgrading the boat upto Schlumberger HSE standards & maintain it to ONGC standards and requirements, this also included 2 coiled-tubing units and crews.

My responsibilities were organizing their schedules, training and development, making sure the equipment was well maintained and that our inventory of spares, chemicals & equipment were upto date. We were capable of performing matrix acid jobs with flow back, pickling jobs and scale jobs both with and without coiled-tubing and cement jobs using coiled-tubing.

Schlumberger also successfully introduced 2 Schlumberger Products - 'SDA*' and 'SXE*' acid systems and the "Jet Blaster*" system using coiled tubing. I also had to organize the yearly 2 month lay-up of the vessel in Bombay docks and both organise and oversee the 1 month dry docking of the vessel in Dubai dry docks.

I was part of the team that was awarded the Performed by Schlumberger Bronze medal for our work on the Samudra Nidhi. I was promoted in October of 2000 from Service Supervisor 2 to Service Supervisor 3.

Service Technician

Initially based in Jebel Ali in the Emirate of Dubai, working on the 'Big Orange XI' (and later on the 'Big Orange XXV') Stimulation vessel as a Service Technician.

The vessel serviced various oil fields in the Arabian Gulf for major petroleum companies pumping mainly LCA*, SDA* & SXE* acid systems.

As part of my training I was the operator in charge of the Big Orange XXII, this vessel worked exclusively for DPC on small tubing pickle jobs.

Following a promotion to Service Supervisor 1 in 1993, I assumed further responsibility as the lead Supervisor on the Big Orange XXV making sure chemicals & equipment were loaded for each sailing.

Furthermore I was Supervisor in charge on the vessel on smaller remedial jobs for Dubai Petroleum Company.
During my time in Dubai I also attended numerous extensive Acid Fracs in the BP/AMOCO field in the Emirate of Sharjah.
