• Monitor to ensure that all employees follow all HSE management policies, procedures and rules established by the company, which is documented in its HSEQ management system guidebook.
• Conduct relevant HSE training and guidance to all employees.
• Advise employees on best practice in the industry to establish and maintain safe working Environments.
• Conduct relevant inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations of IRP Group of Companies.
• Perform Health, Safety & Environmental Audits: compile reports and maintain proper safety records.
Internal Duties (continued): -
• Conduct investigations, respond to and investigate accidents and emergencies.
• Conduct orientation sessions for employees prior to commencement of work on sites as required.
• Develop comprehensive checklists of all work areas inspected. Submit standard inspection reports on incidents, accidents and substandard practices and conditions observed.
• Make recommendations to management to correct substandard practices/conditions and follow through on remedial actions, report substandard conditions of tools, materials, equipment.
• Assist in the production of documented Uniformed Operating procedures and maintenance procedures for each instrument or equipment line in house.
• Conduct (4) types of inspections as deemed necessary: -
1. General area inspections.
2. Pre- Use equipment inspections
3. Critical parts inspection
4. Preventative maintenance inspections
