The private design business of Christos Dousis is focusing on the structural analysis and detailing required for Reinforced Concrete Hydraulics Structures, Infrastructures and Buildings. The structural analysis and detailing are usually at the level of Final Detailed Design. The design is executed under a sub-contract agreement with the clients being large Hydraulic Engineering Companies. Structures include among others chute spillways for earth-fill dams, bridges over the dam’s spillway, underpasses, culverts, pumping station buildings, small hydro-electric power plants, water retaining structures, control and checking gates located along irrigation canals, sewage treatment plants, retaining walls for highway projects . A complete set of calculations and detailed drawings with bar schedule is delivered and support is provided during construction. However if required only draughtsmen support is offered for reinforced concrete structures that are to be constructed.
Structural design of buildings for engineering firms and private clients is also executed where supervision and project coordination is also offered. A number of flat renovations have been executed.
Drafting for Reinforced Concrete Structures at detailed level is executed using years of Engineering Experience and Practise.
Due to their complexity all of the infrastructures projects are closely followed during the construction. Support is provided either to the supervision or to the contractor.
