Details
I coordinate the process of installation, testing and commissioning of the Medical Equipment in the Clinical Lab Department of Sidra Medical and Research Centre for the Medical Equipment Main Contractor.
Activities have also included support in preparation of technical and clinical compliance/specification requirements for laboratory equipment for the tender documents.

Skills acquired
I learned how pre-installation requirements of medical equipment have to be inspected on construction site. I learned how to read, interpret and comment construction documents and shop drawings and how to integrate in a project electrical, mechanical, structural and clinical requirements for installation of medical devices.
I attended coordination meetings with MEP engineers, designers and construction company representatives in order to face the critical issues for the completion of the assigned areas of the Clinical Lab Department and to maintain and manage the critical path schedule as per installation plans.
I learned how to ensure that all medical equipment within the assigned area should operate in accordance to respective standards for safety and compliance. I learned how to deal with customers, manufacturers and suppliers.

Co-responsible of technical support and servicing of radiotherapy cancer treatment systems (Tomotherapy, Accuray Ltd) installed in St. Raffaele Hospital (Milano-Italy) and in Civili Hospital (Brescia-Italy).
