• Reporting to the Commercial and Contracts Manager.
• Create a detailed work plan and schedule which identifies and sequences the activities needed to complete the day-to-day procurement activities.
• Developing and implementing key strategies for the purchase of materials from approved local and international sources; achieving cost reduction in procurement; receiving indent, floating inquiry, receiving a quotation, controlling negotiation, taking approval, and placing orders.
• Provide strategic consultation to facilitate procurement and contracting decisions, as well as technical evaluations, and scope development.
• Technical review of materials or service requests from the requester and preparation of RFQ / RFI / RFP / Agreement / Contract Documents further to the market research.
• Negotiate contracts for specified material quantities with selected vendors, and additionally maintain recurring contracts for common stock materials on periodic schedules.
