Design production equipment. Design, revise and improves the production equipment, tooling, cut-off & punch dies, mechanical cam & jigs. Commissioning, validation and certification of production equipment. Analyze transition complexity of new product to minimize downtime in operation.

Main Projects:
1. Battery Testing Laboratory.
Duties:
• Responsible for coordination with Building & Electrical Contractor, Supplier of Mist eliminator, AHU, Battery Test Equipment and Fabricator.
• Working to push and support the contractor, suppliers and fabricators to finish work as project management plan.
• Responsible to outsource supplier of equipment, materials and fabricators.
• Price Negotiation and savings, prepare abstract of bids, PO Verbiage and POR.
• Close monitoring of project development.

2. Teardown Machine (Horizontal Band saw).
Duties:
• Design acid proof horizontal band saw machine for battery teardown.
• Responsible to outsource supplier of equipment, materials and fabricators.
• Working to push and support the suppliers and fabricators to finish work as project management plan.
• Coordinate with PLC section for control system.
• Price Negotiation and savings, prepare abstract of bids, and POR.


3. Transition Complexity Project.
Duties:
• Study, analyze and report lunching of new product with minimum effect in the plant operation.
• Identify affected machine, equipment, materials inventory, product and department.
• Lead in monitoring materials inventory, product to be phased out, machine to be modified and tooling needed.
• Working to push and support team member activities finish as project management plan.

Product Design and Development Engineer at Philippine Battery Inc. - Motolite

• Ensure that the actual product comply with design geometric dimensioning and tolerance.

2. Lead Optimization Project.
Duties:
• Team leader in design activities of casting mold department, manufacturing and production department and final assembly and packaging department.
• Responsible for coordination with mold supplier, machine fabricator, material supplier and working to push and support to finish work as project management plan.
• Participate in commissioning and dry run of mold, machine and equipment.
• Ensure that the actual product comply with geometric dimensioning and tolerance.

• Leads in repair of telephone network system.
