Review and evaluate contracts and submit corresponding legal views and opinion as may be required by the concerned office

functions. This is achieved through scheduling meetings, maintaining office supplies and security, handling calls and requests, preparing and filing documents and running follow-up actions as required
Conveying the mail of the direct supervisor for outward transmission and receiving

Handling telephone calls, responding to receive faxes and emails and answering inquiries as appropriate
Managing the executive diary of the Regional Manager and coordinate visits and meetings

Designs and formulates appropriate systems and procedures that
enhances overall monitoring and feedback mechanisms required by the
Commission; the Chairman’s office and Commissioners in their policy and
decision-making process;
Develops alternative management systems and coordinative mechanism
suitable to the organization of the Commission to increase and improve
productivity of the staff in the delivery of services, attain better means of
control as well as maximize the use of available human and physical resources;
Designs guidelines in the conduct of periodic systems and procedures audit
for various units of the Commission for the purpose of quality control and
assurance in the operations of the Commission;
Develops and implements various forms required in gathering data to
facilitate top-level management decision-making;
Drafts speeches of the Commissioner during commencement exercises and other related speaking engagements; and
Performs other duties as directed by superiors.
Manages the day-to-day business activities/operation of the office
Directs, supervises, and controls the investigation of complaint/s and case/s
falling within the administrative jurisdiction and authority of its office;
Reviews and evaluates Investigation Report prior to its submission to the Disciplinary Board, House of Representatives, Congress of the Philippines;
Attend/s hearing on administrative proceeding/s before the Disciplinary
Board, House of Representatives, Congress of the Philippines;
Files case/s in the regular courts of justice upon the directive of the Chief Legal Counsel, on criminal offenses involving the interest of the House of Representatives, its officials and employees, as the case maybe;
Attends hearing/s before the regular courts of justice as complaining witness upon the directive of the Chief Legal Counsel, House of Representatives, Congress of the Philippines;
Serves as Paralegal Officer; and
Performs other duties as exigency of the service may so require.
Secure and protect the lives of the members of the House of Representatives, its officials; employees; guests; and equipments/properties found therein;
Provide security escorts to the members of the House of Representatives and the immediate members of their respective families as the exigency of the situation may so require;
Oversees the deployment of security personnel in their respective post assignments within the designated area of responsibility;
Reviews and approves the daily personnel deployment order/plan to meet the manning requirements of the area to be secured;
Reviews and assesses from time to time strategic deployment areas and conduct study and evaluation exercises to determine the internal and external security risks and threat factors and formulate policies to address the issue and provide counter measures therein;
Conduct emergency drills and dry runs to optimize the level of alertness and preparedness of the security force and other employees in the organization;
Conducts weekend troop information and enlightenment program;
Formulate security policies, rules, and regulations according to the requirements and set up of the organization and oversees its implementation and enforcement;
Conduct yearly security personnel retraining course to maintain and keep the optimum level of fitness and qualifications of the force;
Formulates and draws operational plan in the evacuation of employees and equipments in times of fire; disaster; calamities; earthquakes; and the like.
