Responsible of implementing PED HSSE Management system and deliver our Project HSSE strategy across the Project in order to meet world class safety performance goal.
For the UZ 750 EPC-2 project, we have selected multiple Fabrication Yards world wide (Italy, UAE, Oman, Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, China) in addition to the 4 artificial islands.

In this multicultural environment, my responsibilities includes :
- subcontractor / vendor HSSE evaluation process,
- Selection and recruitment of HSSE personnel in the yards & Islands
- influencing yards & Islands set up by HSSE inputs in the contructatbiliy reviews,
- Management and direction of HSSE personnel (90 pers)
- Review the effectiveness of hazard controls/mitigation and report HSSE performance against project goals as required
- Present HSSE improvement plan to the steering committee,
- set up of the Safety Steering Committees and Teams in the yards,
- site audits & inspection,
- training and coaching of multidisciplinary personnel,
- project Golden Rules implementation,
- yards HSSE charter development,
- promote safe working systems and procedures and monitor the proper application of the Golden Rules of Safety
- delivering HSSE strategy for the Fabrication activities thorough the project,
- managing safety incentives program & budget
- conducting incident /accident investigation and project management presentation

2013 - Now Transfield Emdad Services - I'm currently holding the HSEQ manager position supporting about 7000 employees working in major offshore and onshore Oil & Gas sites in Abu Dhabi (Major ADNOC group companies), Qatar, India, and the Philippines.
Planning, executing and directing HSEQ Management System from our mother company in Australia aligned with the local laws & regulation in order to improve our business delivery in our goal to zero harm to anyone anytime I developed number region specific initiatives including safe driving program, drive safe during Ramadan, heat stress awareness, Environmental awareness, Ramadan Safety program, Hazard identification and reporting process, Incident Management.
Leading and overseeing Business units HSEQ improvement plan, Hi-potential incidents investigation & reviews, leadership commitment program implementation and HSEQ reports across the different countries, I also lead the triple recertification audit of the Abu Dhabi business unit based on ISO 9001 & 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.

Transfield Services WorleyParsons across New Caledonia is principally responsible for general maintenance and major shutdowns in Vale Nickel refinery.
I was accountable for development and delivery of the sustainability and health & safety strategies for all TSWNC Contracts in New Caledonia.
Managing the HSE Department I was also acting as Contract Manager for the HSE Service Centre that provides servicing and maintenance for specialized safety equipment on 7/7 24h/day.
Faced to multicultural environment and immature safety culture, I managed through training deliveries and coaching to set up a high standard of reporting within our organisation and developed strong quality documentation systems in line with parent's company standards and European norms to support the achievement of our goals of zero harm to our people, the environment and the equipment's.

For the construction and commissioning of Vale hydrometallurgical Nickel plant in Goro, I've been in charge of implementing the HSE strategy for the field team.
Managing 16 HSE supervisors, 70 contractors for around 6000 people reporting through to the HS Director and directly linked to the construction manager. I was managing the HS team audit schedules, subcontractor weekly audits. Leading high potential incident / accident investigation I was also reporting all HS data directly to the construction committee.
I was the point of contact for the labour authorities regarding special working hour's derogation and high risk activities presentation for approval.
Due to inconvenient weather in New Caledonia I've managed two site evacuation due to cyclones alerts following pre-planned emergency and response plan.

Accountable for QSE matters for a cosmetics and perfumes chemical plant, I implemented a QSE system which obtained a triple certification in environment ISO 14001, in Sustainable Development SD 21000 and in quality ISO 9001.
I supervised the refurbishment of the old production plant and been involved in all the decisions and costing following a risk assessment on explosives atmosphere for incense and perfumed candle production unit.
During that period, I also manage to get an insurance bonus due to the change of the overall fire safety system added to the creation of a planned emergency evacuation exercise linked with the authorities and ERT trainings for all personnel. improvement
