Materials/ Inventory Management: Handling the inventory function so as to curtail inventory holding expenses. Accountable for monitoring daily operations of Network & Infra related materials and timely adherence of SLA’s (Service Level Agreements). Verifying the daily Inventory statement location wise as well as all stock receipts with documents ensuring timely preparation of GRN’s. Ensuring all defectives is returned to vendors as per agreed schedule.
Commercial Operations: Involved in handling complete commercial documentation in compliance with statutory regulations. Undertaking monthly audit of warehouse procedures. Ensuring the STOs & PO’s are processing through SAP for purchasing the materials from Vendors. Handling proper safe keep & usage of all transit & other statutory forms & ensuring that they are sent to Authorized Service Centre & Vendors for refurbishment or replacement.
Logistics: Managing logistics operations appointing new transporters, C&F agents, entering rate contracts & finalizing contracts for transportation. Negotiating with Freight Forwarders for cost effective transport solutions. Preparing documents for export shipments - Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Shipping Instructions, etc.
Stores Management: Establishing procedure for the warehouse; supervising the monthly audit of warehouse procedures. Handling the whole gamut of functions, including store set up, maintenance and allocation of the stock, cash reconciliation, monthly stock check-up, receiving the stock and updating it in the system; looking after judicious space management and following up for timely delivery of material.
Man Management: Providing direction, motivation & training to the team for ensuring optimum performance for meeting project schedule. Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters the development opportunities and motivates high performance amongst the team members.
Tracking of material, logistic operation for cell site implementation.
Track material availability & allotment from circle W/H to cell sites.
Raise fault ticket, track faulty material movement & prepare logistics for R&R process.
Prepare the site document for each cell sites.
Project management and track daily progress reports in MS-Excel.
Preparing power point slides for management review meetings.
Prepare monitoring formats on quality checks & clearance of punch list points.
Collect & track handover documents of completed sites to end customer.
Project management activities for implementing the network.
Planning Management - Project planning, sizing, scheduling activities in line with project contract objectives and deadlines given. Forecasting project needs activities completion.
Co-ordinate activities related to Project Management - Cell site infrastructure build-up.
Team leader in Project planning, Budgeting, Resource planning and execute telecom infrastructure & networking project.
Co-ordination with contractors, sub-contractors, customer’s vendors, Inspection authorities. Supervision of installation and commissioning of RF - works.
Quality inspection of BTS (Base Transmission System) cell site and VSWR/Sweep test.
Involved in supervision of MW installation and commissioning.
Conducting BER test, ATP, preparing documents for mw hops (Equipment used is Harris, Nokia).
