Coordination of Procurement, Storage and Distribution of locally sourced and or imported petroleum
products between satelite depots & customers in a safe and efficient manner, and to ensure that product needs
at various levels are satisfied correctly, timely and cost effectively;
• Manage an Enhanced monitoring system regarding dynamics of the, cost and efficiency (quantity and or
quality) in the storage and movement of petroleum Products;
• Managing relationships between various regulatory bodies within Zambia and in the sub-region so as to
maintain the already existing strict adherence;
• Prompt analysis of inventory data in order to monitor performance so as to assist the planning of
improvements regarding demand and supply of petroleum products;
• Manage the Co-ordination and Control in Product order and distribution cycles and associated Information
systems;
• Efficient liaising and negotiating with customers, dealers, transporters and fellow staff regarding all logistics
and related matters so as to attain best, cost effective and workable supply chain mechanisms;
• Help in the maintenance and development of current business prowess by analyzing logistical problems and
producing new solutions regarding transportation contractors and vessels thereof;
Page1• Assist in the allocation and or management of logistical staff resources in accordance with variant needs;
• Support the implementation of proper HSEQ procedures through active participation in the evaluation of
prevailing standards and adherence in the organization and energy sector as a whole.
• Development of standard route cards to be used by contracted transporters, and provide Need Based
Training on HSEQ & Product Supply Chain mechanisms to the satisfaction of clientele.
•Active and passive monitoring, analysis, and reporting of the performance of transportation vessels via
OBC and providing workable and continuous interfacing.
