I have more than 20 years of experience in petrochemical and oil & gas industry in the design (FEED design, basic design, feasibility studies), maintenance and teaching of instrumentation. Worked on various plants as GC’s (Oil Gathering canters) Kuwait, Karachaganak Oil Complex Kazakhstan, FPSO offshore installations (China and Italy), Oil pipeline pumping stations, Olefins plant, VCM (Vinyl Chloride Monomer plant). I have extensive experience with variety of instrumentation equipment, Control Room and field instrumentation. Worked and have experience with DCS systems (Foxboro I/A Honeywell TDC3000, Yokogawa, MarkV GE, ABB, Rosemount), ESD systems (Triconex, GE Fanuc, Honeywell FCS, HIMA SELLA, Allan Bradley), F&G systems from the same manufacturer, SCADA system Fisher-Rosemount. I have strong communication skills and wide experience working with and training domestic staff (classroom/laboratory training/on job) covering a variety of nationalities.

Instrument Startup Supervisor at AGIP KCO

Position: START UP INSTRUMENT SUPERVISOR
Atyrau, Kashagan EP project (Eskene West), Kazakhstan.
Responsibilities:
-Contributing during SAT’s, Commissioning and Start Up phases of associated systems.
-Ensuring that the Operational Assurance and Integrity requirements are met for the delivered Instrumentation, Measurement, Control & Automation system part of the Kashagan EP project
-Providing technical input and supports the delivery of instrumentation assessment and acceptance processes for systems / packages before release by the vendor and construction during commissioning and start up phases.
-Providing discipline input into integrated commissioning and start up procedures.

-Ensuring that training is delivered as per set of didactic support provided and on professional standard.

-Participating to assessments according to NCPOC/Shell competency requirements.

Responsibilities:
-Coordinating the definition of the Process & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID’s) and the definition of detail (FEED) design engineering for instrumentation.
-Delivering project documentation in the due time and respecting the quality requirements for feasibility studies, basic design and FEED design for new Kashagan units or upgrading of the existing units.
-Providing technical support for developing the engineering criteria and the philosophy for instrument and security systems.
-Instrument engineering support to ensure that design is in accordance with the relevant codes and industry standards. -Instrument engineering expertise for choosing the best technical solutions, ensuring the safety requirements.
-Coordinating the establishment of Equipment lists, Data sheets, for main instrument devices (valves, transmitters, local gauges etc.).
-Coordinating the definition of technical and functional specification for instrument equipment.
-Coordinating Technical documentation preparation by dedicated software for control valves, safety valves, flow meters etc.

CONTROL/INSTRUMENT SPECIALIST at Petrofac Facilities Management Ltd

Position: CONTROL/INSTRUMENT SPECIALIST
North Kuwait Oil Fields - Maintenance performance and risk assessment project.
Goal of the project: to improve reliability and productivity of the existing plants trough proper maintenance. Responsible for organizing of the curative and preventive maintenance of Gathering Centers, GC-15, GC-23, GC-25, Booster station BS-131 as well Salt Water Treatment Plant (SWTP) and Central Injection Facility (CIPF) with variety of instrumentation equipment. Working and troubleshooting instrumentation on different systems as Honeywell DCS TDC 3000, Honeywell FSC ESD, Allan Bradley PLC, GE Fanuc (PLC90-30 and 90-70), HIMA SELLA Hq41 ESD and field instrumentation of different manufacturers. I was involved in troubleshooting existing problems, maintenance and startup’s of Nuovo Pignone compressors (GE Turbine driven with MarkV control system and Bently Nevada vibration monitoring system) at Booster station and GC-25 Gathering Centre.
Responsibilities:
-Proper curative and preventive maintenance of the above mentioned plants and facilities under risk assessment philosophy as well client requirements.
-Proper implementation of the international safety standards.
-Successful performing of the turnaround maintenance as per contractual schedule.
-Coordinating OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) contractors as supporting engineering, during turnaround maintenance activities, solving existing problems with DCS, ESD and F&G systems
-Troubleshooting and solving problems in plants or on particular equipment and start up, preparing reports and compiling problem diagnostic and recommendations for performance improvements
-Implementing recommended modifications
Achievement of the project: significantly improved reliability of the equipment with proper maintenance, technical suggestions and improvements.

INSTRUMENTATION TRAINING INSTRUCTOR at DIETSMANN S.p.a.

Responsible for education and training of domestic staff concerning theoretical and practical part of training performed in classroom, instrument laboratory (practical training on the modern instrumentation in laboratory conditions) and on the site (On Job Training) in order to achieve recommended skill level of the local personnel.
Responsible for: organization and performance of training tasks.
Goal of the project: to educate domestic staff to achieve level to be able to perform daily curative maintenance on selfsame basis, mainly with modern electronic and pneumatic instrumentation equipment.
I was involved into commissioning and day to day maintenance of the sites (UNIT2, UNIT3, KPC) together with trainees and experienced technicians. Worked in Instrumentation laboratory during overhaul periods, responsible for prompt and accurate handling of the instruments, calibration, calibration certificates and delivering to the site.
Worked on following facilities with responsibilities:
- Unit 3 - education and training of the domestic staff during site upgrade from old obsolete control system to modern system. Involved into commissioning and startup of the parts of the plant.
- Unit 2 - involved in parallel activities in construction and training activities of the domestic staff.
