Patient Care Tech: Transfer to full time midnights at the behavioral health and Detox center. I take vital signs, round every 30 min. and document their behavior, health, whereabout, and activity, addmitting paper, serch their belongings and document them, search patient for illegal items for the unit, answer phones, schedule appointments for patients to see the Doctors, invatory and order supplies, computer work, and I am on the schedule cummittee, worker committee, and work other floors in the hospital if needed.
State Tested Nurses Aide: Working night shift on the cardiac and respiratory floor on some occasions I work ER, ICU, and Cancer floors if needed. Taking care of patients checking and documenting turns, routine and surgical vital signs, Glucose test, I&O’s, and weights. Assisting nurses and doctors with medical emergency’s, calling or answer codes, prep patients for surgery, placing and removal of telemetries, discontinue IV’s, and catheters, transferring or discharging patients, and making sure patients are content with their care and stay.
