1/2012 - Current: Team Lead for a Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solution for a large multi facility hospital - Piedmont Healthcare, Atlanta, GA
• Solution design and enhancements. Design and develop ETLs to load data from Electronic medical Recode system (EPIC, NextGen), Hospital Billing Systems, EDI 837 claim files, and third party provider review systems. Troubleshoot and enhance existing ETLs and SQL for performance tuning and standardization. Design and develop dashboards for population health studies and Provider Quality Reporting (PQRS)
• Help peers in development and troubleshooting.
• My role was to architect, develop a complete solution, identify tools needed for development, create a proof of concept, develop key components (HL7 message listener, message parser, web services and outgoing results message generator), guide junior programmer to develop a user interface. I created the database components, the middle tier mapping engine to parse ORM messages into our database, created WCF web services to output data elements, mapped into the outgoing ORU messages. Tools used: ASP.Net 3.5, C#, WCF Web Services, XML, HL7 2.5, MSSQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2010, Altova Mission Kit 2011.
• Worked on enhancing, debugging and troubleshooting the current LIMS and client portal for the company. Created statistics reports using SSRS.
