Commodity Trader & Sales:
* Identify, develop, and manage strong relationships with agricultural
and soft commodity farmers/producers across perishable, Semi-
perishable & non-perishable i.e. fruits, veg, grains, rice, sugar,
pulses and oilseeds throughout Middle East and India
* Work with senior management on trading strategies to grow trading
desk
* Liaise with operations and logistics team to ensure timely delivery of
products.
* Established and in-dept understanding of financial instruments to
develop operational procedures mitigating cash and reputational
risks
* Monitored and Manage trading positions, inventories, and forward
positions to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
* Stay up to date with market movements and news to ensure trading
activity is optimized across products.
Undertake new accounts development initiatives with proper market survey, competition analysis and market penetration.
Reviewing Sales Performance, Negotiating with customers on all levels
Deliver growth and revenue sell-through targets from each restaurant, Kitchen, Café & Catering Companies.
Build strong, influential and collaborative business relationships with the whole-sale partners warehouses and distribution centers.
Responsible for building the right sales forecast and manage the product inventories within the company and with the sourcing partners.
Ensure optimal availability of products over long and short term
Responsible for making sure the packing/delivery team have the correct order backlog in place.
keep track of cost and effectiveness logistic & Delivery schedules.
Liaise with operations and logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products.
Ensure cash/cheque collection as per agreed terms with customers (work and communicate closely with Finance department)
Monitoring and regularly evaluating pricing fluctuation of fruits & veg daily basis and updating client with price on daily, weekly, monthly & yearly basis as per the agree terms in signed contract.
Provide products and services that meet standards of quality, timeliness and cost.
-Solely responsible for generating leads for the company
-Achieve targeted sales volume and value through daily visits to customers according to route plan.
-Responsible to acquire new HORECA clients in UAE and signing contract and managingh existing customers.
-Responsible for the development of sales plan & sales strategy to achieve volume and revenue growth while ensuring profitablity by analyzing opportunities.
-Collect due payments through following up with customers and assist Accounts to clear payment disputes, credit notes between account and clients in order to contribute to the targeted cashflow percentage.
-Present sales revenue and expenses report and relalistic forcast to the management team
-Build and maintain relationship with customers through regular visits, follow-up, and exceptional customer service.
