Global Procurement, Regional Category Manager for IT Solutions Procurement (based in United Arab Emirates, responsible for Middle East and Africa Region).
Responsibilities:
• Managing the IT Solutions and Systems Integrations category as well as IT HW and Care Services Category for Middle East and Africa which involves responsibility over Global and Regional supplier (of HP, SUN, IBM, F5, Frequentis, Siemens, Barco, EMC, Sagem, Dell, Quanta, Mustek, OKI, etc) through the solution life cycle (sales, project, support, phase-out),
• Ability to develop the procurement category strategy in challenging region, where the category did not yet exist.
• Responsible of category purchase volume on the scale of 15 to 20 Million Euro on yearly basis.
• Savings accomplishment of 15 % on yearly basis of the total spends.
• Developed strategic suppliers and negotiated contract agreements to reduce the number of vendors in the region efficiently in the areas I am covering, resulting in cost savings due to reduced administrative costs and covering NSN and NSN's customer contractual interests in terms of IPRs, Liabilities, Indemnifications, etc...
• Increased business transparency with partners, created operations improvement plans for ongoing projects and for new sales opportunities in Access and Security field generating 7 Million euros of sales annually.
• Complementing the supplier base for care services by conducting a selection process for several strategic care suppliers, to provide Savings and customer Satisfaction.
• Responsible for and Monitoring suppliers’ performance and improvements in the region thus managing the risks related to the suppliers in proactive approach.

• Technical Team Leader/Support Project manager for the du (EITC) Project UAE in which all types of 3rd party services (end to end) are being supported, tested and troublshooted in addition to Nokia customized products.
• Responsible for mantaining the SLA’s, KPI’s through establishment of competent team and daily technical follow ups on each case with the team, customer and 3rd party, thus, Contribution to operative improvement and services development.
• Involved in preparing the support cost, resourcing costs, training costs, 3rd party support costs, and also partial delivery costs, etc…..
• Consulation with the Delivery project management in terms of project cost, project time line and resources required.
• review of the support contracts terms and conditions during contract renewal and new contracts in the assigned region/sub-region.
• Leading and Coaching and training an expert team of 7 members, Support/Soluton engineers for 3rd party platforms and Nokia Customized Products

• Managing the SIT Nokia support team for the du (EITC) Project Middle East, in which all types of services are being tested and troublshooted properly by our team that involves a highly qualified engineers.

• Training new coming engineers joining Nokia: As the SIT is a perfect oppurtunity for knowing diffrent parts of the network and handling GSM issues and related Defects.
