To supervise, control and motivate junior staff in clinical area, to help establish effective communications between clinical areas, other departments and external agencies. To ensure efficient and effective use of manpower in accordance with the budget and the company guidelines, to assist the selection of junior staff. To identify training needs with in the clinical area for junior staff and report and organize such through appropriate channels and in line with appropriate budgets, To ensure that all relevant training is identified, implemented, recorded and evaluated, To create a trusting relationship between service user, relatives and staff, to ensure where appropriate that the administration and control of drugs and medication is in accordance with company policy, NMC and Health Authority guidelines, to attend and record hand over providing guidance in acting upon instructions to junior staff, to assist in the assessment of potential service users before admission, to assist in the development and delivery of individual care plans for service users, to report and record daily on the wellbeing of service users, to ensure that all staff abide by instructions to complete where necessary any and all medical records. i.e. fluid charts, turn records, meal request etc., organize and supervise staff breaks, ensure all service users are cared according to designated care plans, delegate some working practice regarding rising and retiring service users, arranging supervision to and from activities and or social outings, to perform some medical duties, initially supervised when delegated by the registered manager or nurse in charge-some dressings, some wound care, some assessing, some service user plan updates (countersigned) to carry out all duties in a safe manner having regard for the health, safety and welfare of self, service user, staff, and other persons with in the company.

I've finished or completed my NVQ level 2 last year November 2010 at Academy of Learning in London, I am so delighted to taking up this course cause I learnt a lot and it is very useful of my career interest, I did apply all my knowledge at work and it is really worked, I am progressive well and confident to do all the task. First Line Management- level 2& 3. I've finished or completed FLM course July 2009 at Academy of Learning in London. I am so proud and pleased to finished this course. I was been promoted my Job a month after I've been completed because I applied all my knowledge at work by managing or running the floor smoothly, seriously and responsibly on both Dementia and Nursing care unit , by creating a good relationship between the service users, relatives and staff.
