Managing Saudi Airlines procurement contract
Serve as a key member in the Supply Chain (procurement) Group. Working with suppliers to obtain parts, supplies and/or equipment per design specification at the best value, within schedule and quality requirements.
2-Developing and maintaining vendor/supplier relationships and working with the project teams to ensure material availability and accuracy.
3-Identify suitable suppliers for cost and capacity considerations, prepare sourcing plans, conduct analysis of supplier’s offerings and prepare recommendations of the most suitable supplier. Additionally, prepare concise management review reports on a periodic basis.
4-Prepare and submit Request for Information, Requests for Quotation, and the issuance of Purchase Orders. Maintain a definite and complete documentation trail and a concise status of efforts suitable for management review.
5-Analyze market research for potential demand aggregation - supplier consolidation, contract renegotiation, price reductions or cost avoidance.
6-Plan and manage all assigned supplier negotiation strategies.
7-Align sourcing strategies and procure materials and supplies in concert with company strategies/objectives for direct and indirect requests.
8-Oversee resolution of disputes, deficiencies, and warranty claims.
9-Understand and manage entire supply chain including primary and sub-tier suppliers for assigned commodity groups.
10-Provide contract administration support as required.
1-Raise Purchase orders from MRP system ensuring timely placement and delivery of components in line with production planning requirements.
2-Expedite and reschedule open purchase orders to suit production planning requirements.
3-Review historical data including sales trends, research demand drivers, material on time delivery,
commodity spends within dedicated production cell. Coordinate research data to identify significant
variances. Share, communicate and report on variances to both internal and external supply chain.
4-Interact with production planner and sales to understand demand forecast drivers
5-Use and maintain MRP data as the primary planning system tool
6-Provide input in developing departmental strategies for inventory on existing items, new product
introduction and phase outs.
7- Reporting gathered information within operation meeting environment
8-Create statistical reports
9- Gather, analyze and validate data.
10-Share data with relevant departments and external suppliers.
11-Working with demand and forecast incorporating current and accurate information to allow the company to correctly predict customer demand and provide supply chain with appropriate information to allow planning on how to meet demand.
12- Improved relationships among production planners, sales, production supervisors and quality which will lead to effective knowledge sharing and optimizing the forecast to better guide the company.
13-Excellent systems and methods to continually improve forecast allowing the company to better anticipate customer needs.
14-Execute with excellence in the area of stock and demand replenishment providing feedback to the supply chain on risks regarding replenishment levels
