Responsible for ensuring direct and indirect materials availability to meet production schedules while maintaining optimum inventory level and minimizing the risks of material obsolescence and expiration to achieve overall company logistics competitiveness.
Responsible for the design of Product like MAZDA JPN/US, TOYOTA, JAGUAR/HONDA & NISSAN. Represents the section during APQP meetings, prepares back-up data (checksheets, monitoring status, fabrication schedule and other related concerns from the Production of the said products. Monitor overall schedule of the section based on the required deadline, promotes lean manufacturing concept in every area of the section. Communicates to overseas regarding the design development of the product to be developed. Monitoring the implementation for any design changes for particular design of the products.
Analyzes new item for development. Breakdown loads and prepare schedule to subordinates, Checks and evaluates documents prepared by subordinates such as Work Instructions, Operation Standards, Revision Information, Repair Procedure, Deviation Request and Prints Clarification, Parts List, Work Order Sheets, Joint Drawing, Sub-assy Drawing ang Assembly Drawing making sure that their outputs comply with existing standards and procedures. Make monthly accomplishment report of the area, conduct/attend cross functional meetings when needed, communicate to affiliates by facsimile or phone regarding clarifications.
Lead a cross-functional team in reviewing processes to ensure that quality is built with the product based on Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) with the following objectives: Provide and understand shared problems, identify areas where engineering changes may be required, highlight areas needing improvement, identify methods for improvement, formulate necessary revisions on existing documents which can be applied to the new processes that need special control such as Process Flow Document, Control Plan and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) documents
Analyze customer drawing and breakdown the items to be developed. Clarify discrepancy to customers by prints clarification. Prepare the Parts List, Joint Drawing, Sub-Assy Drawing, Assembly Drawing, Operations Standards and Packaging Operation Standards.
