Main Role:

Responsible for quality monitoring of civil, structural and architectural construction and pre-commissioning up to final acceptance, to ensure compliance with applicable standards and project specifications.

• Saudi Aramco Total Refinery and Petrochemical Company (SATORP - Tank Farm Package) - Jubail, Saudi Arabia
Contractor: Petrol Steel Company Ltd.


Main Roles:

Responsible for quality monitoring, supervisions, and inspection of civil and structural constructions from pre-commissioning up to final acceptance, to ensure compliance with applicable standards and project specifications.

Increase the Client's/Saudi Aramco's confidence on quality; And contractor's credibility, to improve work processes and efficiency, and to enable the contractor to better compete with others.

• Responsible for quality monitoring civil and structural construction up to final acceptance, to ensure compliance with the Company or international standards and specifications.
• Verify that the work execution and implementation are as per approved procedures, specifications and IFC drawings.
• Liaise with contractor, subcontractors and third parties to solve all kind of problems encounter at site.
• Inspection of works carried out by contractor and use surveillance report to document both acceptable and deficient works found at the time of inspection
• Ensure that project construction activities are conducted in accordance with quality system.
• Coordinating with the contractors and third parties from time to time for materials approval to be reflected from design drawing.
• Review the site or contractor’s quality reports, laboratory reports, field test reports and material’s inspection release notes.
• Assure all inspection records / quality documents and relevant project documents will be maintained and archived according the project execution plan.
• Attend weekly meeting and emergency meeting with the client and construction managers to discuss project’s progress, problems and plans.
• Raise and document site non-conformances and supervise the effectiveness implementation of corrective action.

• Inspect local project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
• Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.
• Provide technical advice to contractor personnel regarding design, construction, or project modifications/repairs.
• Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations or establish reference points, grades, or elevations to guide construction.
• Direct engineering activities ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, or other governmental regulations.
• Manage and direct the construction, operations, or maintenance activities at project site.
• Prepare or present public reports on topics such as bid proposals, deeds, environmental impact statements, or property and right-of-way descriptions.
• Conduct studies of traffic patterns or environmental conditions to identify engineering problems and assess potential project impact.
• Identify environmental risks and develop risk management strategies for civil engineering projects.
• Liaise with the local residences and organization affected in the projects to solve potential and encountered problems at site.
