Responsible for handling Al Ismaelia business development activities starting from the company strategy to the formulation of properties/projects strategy and plan and the execution of marketing programs.

Relevant Highlights:

Strategy: Develop the strategy for the company as a whole as well as for individual properties/projects.

Business Planning: Develop the economic and technical studies for projects as well as research and evaluate alternative usage of company properties to achieve development goals. Full feasibility studies were developed as well as implementation plans. All business plans where then consolidated into a company plan with quantifiable targets and planned delivery dates. This responsibility included developing monitoring and evaluation tools that will be used for reporting.

Sales and Marketing: Based on the established strategies and business plans, sales and marketing structure for every project was established. Along with developing the company’s sales and marketing tools. When needed, search for strategic partners for specific projects.

Reporting on Company Performance: Developing the company’s reporting process to the board of directors and to shareholders. Established key indicators to be monitored by management as well as other stakeholders.

Advocacy and PR: Developed the PR strategy for the company as well as managing the company’s relationship with the various stakeholders in Downtown which will include: the different government agencies, civil society, residents, shop owners, visitors as well as the various development agencies and donor programs. The key objective of this responsibility was to reach a consensus from the various players on a vision for downtown that the government can support both politically and economically and align the company’s strategy with this vision.

Revival Activities: Managed the company’s activities for reviving downtown and attracting positive traffic back into the neighborhood. Activities included organization of events, attracting specific activities or investing in raising awareness for Downtown Cairo and the various attractions it offers.
