Strategy: Develop the strategy for the company as a whole as well as for individual properties/projects.

Business Planning: Develop the economic and technical studies for projects as well as research and evaluate alternative usage of company properties to achieve development goals. Full feasibility studies were developed as well as implementation plans. All business plans where then consolidated into a company plan with quantifiable targets and planned delivery dates. This responsibility included developing monitoring and evaluation tools that will be used for reporting.

Sales and Marketing: Based on the established strategies and business plans, sales and marketing structure for every project was established. Along with developing the company’s sales and marketing tools. When needed, search for strategic partners for specific projects.

Reporting on Company Performance: Developing the company’s reporting process to the board of directors and to shareholders. Established key indicators to be monitored by management as well as other stakeholders.

Advocacy and PR: Developed the PR strategy for the company as well as managing the company’s relationship with the various stakeholders in Downtown which will include: the different government agencies, civil society, residents, shop owners, visitors as well as the various development agencies and donor programs. The key objective of this responsibility was to reach a consensus from the various players on a vision for downtown that the government can support both politically and economically and align the company’s strategy with this vision.

Revival Activities: Managed the company’s activities for reviving downtown and attracting positive traffic back into the neighborhood. Activities included organization of events, attracting specific activities or investing in raising awareness for Downtown Cairo and the various attractions it offers.

The scope comprised site assessment, competitors analysis, demand and supply forecast, detailed customer profiling, benchmarking, market segmentation, development concept and components, marketing strategy, unit mix, phasing strategy, revenue simulation, master plan brief, partners assessment and land valuation.

Conducted a market study for residential, office, retail and hospitality markets and concept development or a mixed use development in New Cairo City. The scope comprised competitors’ analysis, customer research, segmentation and targeting, demand and supply forecast, development concept, components and development mix.

Managed the sales and marketing strategy and implementation for a commercial development in Giza area. The scope comprised marketing strategy and planning, marketing toolkit design and sales and marketing management.

Conducted a land acquisition strategy assignment for one of the leading real estate development and investment companies. The scope covered a comprehensive study that commences with analyzing granular demand across Egypt governorates, supply assessment and ends with a thorough analysis of land supply in areas of high demand for short-term and long-term recommendations.

Conducted a market study for rehabilitation homes and concept development. The scope comprised competitors’ analysis, segmentation and targeting, demand and supply forecast, development concept and components, development mix and feasibility study.
