Mechanical Section Head

I have moved in March 2014 to M&A for Glass Processing as a Mechanical Section Head to lead different teams in plant installation and machines assembly till production start-up then getting responsible for Mechanical Department.

After we start production, i am responsible now for all Mechanical Maintenance activities and Planning for all Maintenance Department and preparing all quality systems documents

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing all machines in the plant (Cutting, Grinding, Printing & Furnace sections, Air line)
• Scheduling all mechanical activities in maintenance department through maintenance plan
• Supervising maintenance teams to repair all mechanical faults.
• Establishing different maintenance systems and ensure that it is implemented properly
• Analyze repeated faults to eliminate it and keep machine in good condition
• Follow up S.P. store to ensure that all needed parts are exist to recover all machines.
• Dealing with external contractors to keep needed maintenance tasks done properly.
• Train all maintenance members to increase their technical side and improve their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare all maintenance activities (Corrective, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance).
• Follow up the machines with production department to determine the exiting faults in it.
• Analyze all faults list to distribute it throughout the week & between Shifts
• Review and check with the store to get and prepare the required spare parts
• Creating Condition Monitoring (Predictive Maint.) and P.M. (Preventive Maint.) forms for all machines in the plant and ensure that it is updated and implemented correctly.
• Key user of OMP (Overall Machines Performance) project implementation
• Zero phase Team leader of TPM System (Total Productive Maintenance)

Key Achievements:

• Creating Condition Monitoring System for all machines on plant.
• Generate a calculation method making us able to adjust knives measurements three times faster than old method.
