• To supervise erection works, test and commission various MV/LV electrical systems including Grid stations, Power/Distribution Transformers, 13.8KV substations, Relay & control Panels, surge arresters, bays of substations, DC system, Ring Main Unit in MV/LV substations, Pumping stations, etc.
• Monitoring the activities with their mile stone dates and update the progress of project.
• Technical negotiations with suppliers to meet the given technical specifications and all kind of data.
• Preparation of technical documents.
• Meetings with clients/consultants for Project Co-ordination.
• Arrangement of resources required at site for installation of electrical equipments, Transformers, Switchgears, Relay panels and DC system.
• Technical follow-up during engineering and site execution.
• Involves in progress meetings (Internal, with customers, with sub-suppliers)
• Provide testing schedules for the projects.
• Handing over the project to the client and taking over of job completion certificate.
• Testing and Commissioning of Protection Relays, Transducers and Digital Meters.
• Proficient in handling of the Secondary Relay Test set Megger SMRT 36, FREJA 300, ISA, Programma Severker etc. and Primary Test set (ISA T2000, Sverker, etc) and other electrical test equipment such as Insulation Testers, VLF, Battery Discharge Set, Earth tester, DC Contact Resistance, TTR Test Set. Commissioning Tools.
• Testing & Commissioning BMS System.
• Testing of all type protection Relays. (Over current, Earth fault, Tripp Circuit Supervision, Directional over Current, Differential, Check Synchronism, Under/Over Voltage.
• Troubleshooting and rectification of Customer complaints of Low/ Medium Voltage switchgear at site.
• Control & Relay Panel wiring testing and commissioning.
• Incoming and In-process materials control for switchgear assemblies as per ISO 9001 quality standards.
