Referred online Bus-booking websites and created the website BookMyBus.com which included the following features:-
-Enquiry.
-Make/Cancel Reservation.
-Download Tickets.
-Add/Delete Bus services through admin credentials.
-Developed the application using spring framework that uses MVC architecture (Model View and Controller) and angular JS.
-Components involved with the MVC pattern in a Java Web application consist of a controller servlet to handle and dispatch client requests, multiple task objects to extend the controller to specific domains, JavaBeans to transfer data, platform service adapters for encapsulating model/business logic, and template pages for building the desired views.
-Oracle 10g is used in the backend for bus data management such as routes, tickets, bus schedule and seats allocation.
-Connectivity with database is done using JDBC driver so that JDBC acts as a bridge between the user interface and database.
-Javascript is used for the client side validations.
-Session Tracking is done for controlling login, logout and for authenticity.
-Servlet chaining is used for connecting different modules such as booking and payment module.
