Currently working at SABIC’s affiliate IBN SINA, as a Financial Analyst, my current duties comprise of handling the financial aspects of the existing plants and new projects which are currently in the EPC phase. As part of the Finance & Planning Department, I am responsible for the below:
 Management reporting by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analysis, and recommendations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
 Monitoring and coordinating with SABIC shared services for the monthly closing activities
 Ensuring financial data quality (FDQ)
 Monitoring and tracking financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts against actual cost
 Improving financial status by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends, recommending actions
 Reconciling transactions by collecting and comparing data, and making appropriate adjustments
 Increasing productivity by developing automated applications, eliminating duplication, coordinating information requirements
 Accomplishing finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed
 Invoicing to parties for shared projects
 Preparing monthly cash flow for the company and also for the projects underway
 Liaise and coordinate with internal and external contacts

 Preparation of a detailed company profile for the company’s official website
 Due Diligence of Financial and Business proposals for the bidding process of petroleum concessions around the globe. (British Petroleum’s (BP) assets in Pakistan, Gas & Condensate Concessions in Afghanistan and Kurdistan, Rally Energy Pakistan Limited’s assets in Pakistan, MND Exploration & Production Limited’s assets in Pakistan &Yemen, Tullow Pakistan (Developments) Limited and Tullow Bangladesh assets in Pakistan and Bangladesh respectively)
 Part of a in-house work group commenting on Pakistan Petroleum Exploration & Production Policy 2012 (notified by the Government of Pakistan)
