•Develop process control systems, appliances, methods and procedures to ensure worker safety and health, either in-built or as external precautionary measures like using the right tools, protective clothes, etc.
•Conduct safety audits to measure effectiveness of safety controls
•Develop safety reference manuals for new workers to understand and apply
•Inspect and review production plant floor layout, workflow blueprints as well as worker safety training.
Maintain discipline of the whole department and
assure smooth and efficient working.
• Manage production team.
• Discuss, prepare and finalize all the production plans
and present to higher management for approval.
• Execute production plans approved by the higher
management through production team.
• Monitor Engineering Progress by their components for
each process.
• Performed daily line tracing, field verification as per
P&IDs and followed up with construction contractor
for jobs completion.
• Performance Reporting and presentation to higher
management for KPIs and Quality Objective.
• Review procedures and propose improvements to
enhance plant efficiency. Raise corrective and
preventive action requests and maintain log for the
same.
• Handling ongoing projects at the plant, communicate
with other departments on various project activities as
needed.
• Generate annual performance report of the whole
department.
• Deal with the dispatch, loading/unloading contractors
and manages relevant issues.
• Deal with the marketing and distributions teams on
daily dispatches.
• Participate in procurement procedures for chemicals
and equipment required at the plan including catalyst,
safety equipment.
• Ensure smooth inspection visits for boiler inspectors,
safety department staff, pollution control Dept,
technical teams from Financial Institutions and other
stakeholders.
• Plan and Manage Annual Shut Downs at Sulfuric Acid,
Single Super Phosphate and Zinc Sulphate Plant.
• Participate in recruitment of Engineering Staff and
other technical sub-ordinates.
• Implementation of ISO 9001:2008 QMS at the Plant.
