In charge of the Reporting, Budgeting, and Financial Planning Unit.

First time in the history of Greenstar, developed Annual Budget for 2013-14 on multiple dimensions of donor, department, location, expense head, activity category and product. Developed an Advanced Financial Model in Ms Excel that efficiently captured data in the required dimensions, collated all data in a standard ‘database’ format and enabled custom made reports to be generated on multiple dimensions instantly. Subsequently, led the team and worked day and nights, including weekends, to prepare the budget and incorporate changes within the assigned deadlines. As a result, budget was circulated to the Budget Review Committee One Week before the meeting. The Budget was subsequently approved by the board without any major changes.
Completely overhauled the data entry practices in the ERP (Oracle) to turn it around from garbage-in garbage-out model to a highly efficient model whereby all financial transactions are captured on the required dimensions to enable actual vs budget report on monthly basis. Developed and implemented detailed Policy and Procedure to this effect. Setup and implemented transaction level budgetary controls in the organization.
Currently involved in various projects for improvement of overall policies and procedures within Greenstar.
