Responsible for the administration, direction and coordination of various Hospital departmental activities
Handling issues of patients and staff & solving their problems.
Consult with physicians, nurses and other medical professional and non-professional staff in developing, establishing and implementing operational plans, policies and procedures within the Hospital
Responsible for managing nursing programs, risk management proposals and quality assurance
Responsible for developing various critical pathways for enhancing patient discharge.
Responsible for directing hospital wide preparation for NABH survey, Safe-I Certification & BFHI certifications.
Develops internal operating procedures designated to achieve efficient hospital and department operations and maximum service to patients of the hospital.
Works closely with the Chiefs of Medical & Nursing Department to analyze and evaluate clinical aspects of care in order to improve quality of patient care and plan for better utilization of paramedical staff.
Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients in cooperation with a staff of 14.
Delivered individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff other departments and the patient’s family
Facilitate collaboration with patient, family, primary provider and other members of the health care team for instituting effective plan of care.
Participate in the quality assurance program in cooperation with quality committees
Monitored health and safety compliance and infection control within the complex
Implement total patient care through a team nursing process covering 8-10 patients per shift
Act as patient advocate, assess patient status and notify physician of clinical changes
