Job responsibility includes:
· Drafting reviewing and amending various types of legal agreements/ contracts and other legal documents including Mortgage deeds, Undertakings, assignments, resolutions, guarantees, indemnities, powers o attorney, etc;
· Rendering legal opinion which are referred by branches managers, Head of Dept; and bank’s management legal matters that may come across in their day to day works, by giving advice, recommendations, replies to specific quires after reviewing the files, questions, issues and relevant documents.
· Handling civil, commercial and criminal suits field by and against the Bank, liaising and following up with external lawyers, reviewing reports issued by banking experts and court-appointed accountancy experts. Discussing and coordinating with various officials and such experts and external council, identifying deficiencies, providing feedback and appropriate information and further documents to raise objections. Make replies from banking and legal perspective, and making suggestions and rendering recommendations.
· Handling all legal matters including preparation of all legal documentation like shareholders/directors, resolutions and agendas coordinating, etc. with various officials in ministry of economy and commerce, ministry of justice, notary public, central bank, economic departments and other government departments and bodies for smooth resolution of legal issues and approvals.
· Supervising and controlling all activities in share unit, for instance, transfers pledge, release and attachment of shares, etc.
· Prepare and review sharia contracts like Murabaha, Ijara, Mudarabah, istisna, musharka, agency etc. and relating documents.
